This question is for people here who promote dating offers. Whats converting better for you? I'm currently using ONLY phrase match & its giving me good results.

Anybody here using exact or broad matches for dating websites?

I'm not able to generalise on this because in my experience, all three match types work for dating, though particular keywords will naturally work better with a given match type.

    only one answer --
    test.
it really isn't hard to test this kinda stuff either. everyones results will be different (depending on their offers, the actual kws, how targetted the landing page is to the queries etc)

Why are you comparing match types? Your objective is to identify the exact keywords that are converting. By using just phrase match, that's impossible, unless you've got keyword tracking in place. If you do have tracking, your goal is to include the converting keywords as exact matches in their own ad groups with custom ads.

I would have to agree with Masterful.

You shouldn't focus on match types, instead "identify the exact keywords that are converting."

Personally, I don't not see the purpose of using Phrase Match unless in my negative keyword list. Structuring your adgroups by match type, Broad/Exact, is the most effective way of managing in AdWords campaign. You always want to extract additional keywords from the search query report by viewing your Broad adgroups. Once the converting keywords are identified, place them "in their own ad groups with custom ads."

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers!

broad will give you the most impressions, but if you use broad for any niche, dating included, make sure you have a good list of negative keywords.
