I'm working in a fairly niche market with a high CPC. Each service provided is in a separate campaign and each campaign has keyword specific AdGroups. I have been provided a specific monthly budget than I need to maintain. Keeping my current exact match set-up I can hit roughly 50% of that budget. My thoughts are creating a new campaign BetaXXX and duplicating every AdGroup from the exact match campaigns and adding them to this campaign using broad match. From a account quality score perspective, the new campaign will (should) have a lower CTR than my exact match campaign. However there is only 1 worse performing campaign. For budgetary reasons it would be easier to maintain a strict budget with 1 additional campaign than 12 new ones. What would you do in this situation?
Phrase match is best to start any campaign and it will not send bad quality traffic to your campaign.
