Google Knowl failed to put up a good fight against Wikipedia. Here comes Britannica. What is your outlook of the future of Britannica?
Well Britannica might face better than Knowl, but wikipedia is already very well known and it is an uphill struggle for them.
It depends on the quality of editors doing their job at Britannica and volume of traffic it attracts... As already mentioned, it is very difficult to beat the wiki because it has already established its status with authority.
It is extremely weird that you've never heard of Britannica since it came to us over a hundred years ago.
Wikipedia is a individual users made pedia .. and for that .. it's the best .. things that are supported by community.. always wins !!
sorry to say this but...............WIKIPEDIA RULESS!!!! YEAH YEAH YEAH!!! Britanica may be able to do better than others but you shouldn't count your chickens before they hatch...
