Its no secret that Britain gets a good amount of rain each year, but this year  what the bloody hell is going on? :) what has happend to the summer.

I feel sorry for the flood victims and the people who have died as a result.

Its been raining all day where i live but thankfully were not in danger of being flooded, unfortunately it must be heart breaking for those who are to see the water levels drop, only to rise again.

Rain is good, but not this much, they said on the radio today that some places will get 2 months of rain in just 24 hours.

Yes, it's been a piss poor summer thus far. No doubt the media will be harping on about the environmental causes, completely missing the point that climate change is a natural phenomenon.

I bet the environmentalists will again point fingers on who's to blame about these calamities.

Very crappy here in Wokingham. We're not as bad as the houses that have been flooded, that must really suck but our work unit has flooded and I've spent ages sucking up what seems like hundreds of litres of water with a vax. The drive to get out of work is also flooded, it has a stream either side that's burst, not sure my car will get through - it's quite deep! Still, couple of hours to go yet.

It started raining so i escaped on holidays. When i got back it was still raining. Im going on more holidays...

There are places in the world that suffer from drought and we swim in rain here. Its not fair.

CountryBoy & jdR!pper this is exactly what i say myself, that it is a natural shift happening with the climate and not the story that they make out to be.

silo i hope your able to get your car through any water shortly.

mightyb yes it would be better if it was raining more evenly throughout regions, ironically places will usually get more of what they dont need.:(

Hope you have been enjoying your hols :)

lol cheers, where's there's home, there's a way, I'll sort it one way or another :D

Holidays in the rain is a good idea, I may take that advise on board soon.

Another annoying thing is that you know next month, we'll have a hosepipe ban again too!
