I recently started a new business at SaltSoaps.com but so far sales have been very low.

What would be good ways to increase sales for this type of business?

    Thanks

Who is your market? Women mostly? Go where they hang out. Such as "mom" web sites, Swagbucks, Squidoo, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and others. Pay for advertising or find other means to share your business info with them..
Ask to guest-post or pay someone to post on their blog about your business and where to find it.
If you were to offer some type of contest, in which they supply you with their name and email, you could generate quite a few leads for email marketing.
Create Youtube videos about how you make your soap and what is special about it.

Fastest way is to look what your competition is doing and to copy it. Go with sites like whatrunswhere or spyfu and check where they advertise.
Imho paid traffic is the way to go.
