Hey, I'm sorta new to ad sense and know there are a crap load of rules for these kinds of things.

I know you can't tell people to click on ads but can I have an area at the footers of my forum with Google ads with a message above the table w/the ads saying "Support our site" I am not saying "Click the ads to support our site" so is it legal?

    Thanks for the help.

    Nope. Not legal.

Your best bet is to just focus on placement and blending. Good luck!

Show a screenshot or a link, aslong as you don't get a really high ctr on the advert then it should be ok.

I am more then sure your website or account would get banned.

Even though you didn't say "Click These Ads", you are basically suggesting it in other words.

Nope. "Sponsored links" is the only header text I think you can use

O.K. what if I played it sneaky.

Say I had in my footers "Support our Site" then a paypal donate button right next to the text. Then right below that google ads. . .

I just wanna draw more attention to the ads but guess I really shouldn't risk losing my account over it.

    Thx

That may work. Kind of risky though, and I doubt the return would be worth it. Go and and email support to ask them.

I would never recommend being sneaky. You should focus on increasing traffic and good ad placement instead of ways to trick people or Google. Its a better long term strategy in my opinion.

Blend it in and make sure its not leading people to click it on purpose.

Having "support our site" followed by the ad is against google's TOS.
You can probably have that in the footer with the paypal donate, but find a different place for the banner.
