Well I got the idea to buy keyword-specific domains that are highly searched (Google Trends, Overture -- high ticket keywords), and setup a script on them to the effect they could all be hosted off ONE webserver. How would this work? Well, a if {url == a url in the database} then it displayed all the information from that particular entry, or included the information from a static page on the server (to cut down on server load). Well they would all be on the same IP, but not inter-linked. 5-10 high ticket websites would link to them, build up that one site's PR and carry a little weight to the rest of teh sites. But since Google looks for keyword specific domains first (I assume so, since "Sholiz" is the name of a song with about 900 results on lyric sites in Google but Sholiz.com comes up #1 for "sholiz"). All the pages would be information about a particular keyword, then I'd have an affiliate program setup on it to direct them where they could find out more info or buy it. To me, this makes sense, but can anyone see any complications with this theory? The script I can get to work, and it'd be fairly advanced but simple in functionality.
Plenty of servers have thousands of sites on them. As long as they are not interlinked it should be fine.
