This site was written by my fiance, a dog lover and pet fanatic who researched all of the content thoroughly (too thoroughly, took her forever to complete!).

20 pure breed dogs are covered, with the following information about each:
- Breed information
- Size
- Breed specific health issues
- Life expectancy
- Grooming requirements
- Activity level

Each dog's information was split between two Wordpress posts to maximise the number of indexed pages and entrance points.

Content was added gradually (once per week) over 5 months, again to maximise bot activity and indexing in search engines. 232 indexed pages in Google.

Site has been submitted to 100 social networking sites over two months (ie 200 links). 768 backlinks showing in Yahoo (more trusted than Google at showing backlinks).

Traffic comes primarily from Google Images (site was optimised to maximise this source of traffic) and Google Search. Traffic has been on the increase and I expect that to continue.

Check out the number of keywords used to find the site over the last 30 days - 479! SEO experts will tell you that a long keyword tail is a fantastic thing to have and ensures that traffic will keep on increasing.

Revenue Details:
Revenue is increasing as traffic increases and the site ages, but is still fairly minimal. In December, it earned $7.78. So far this month, $2.28.

Traffic Details:
Ranks really well for some great keywords, particularly in Google Images, eg 1st page for Basset Hound.

Starting to rank well on Google Search for popular phrases like 'pure breed dogs' (page 3).

Has one listing on Wikipedia that wasn't removed (a few others brought great traffic but only lasted a day or two).

50-80 uniques per day, gradually rising over time.
Average of almost 3 pageviews per visitor.
Not much revenue as yet, $8 in December, $2 in January so far.
