I have a sound trigger for my external flash unit (I said unit)

open the shutter (bulb setting), make a sound and the flash fires. Tough part is getting the timing down which I have to tinker with by hand.

 

Woah! Way cool, Timmy!! You are getting pretty good at this picture taking stuff. You should consider doing it for a living...

 

well, maybe if I can ever break away from my current stint as a Calvin Klein underwear model

thanks. not bad for my first attempt at it I say, had to break a few bulbs in the process. next time will be better b/c I'll be protected and have better control over the pellets. Last time I was just kind of ducking out of the way

for the next set may I suggest a filled water balloon, or a balloon filled with smoke

 

yep, water balloons were def on my list, hadn't thought of the smoke though. talcum powder might be fun too
