Lately there's so much of this kind of post floating around the web, it's encouraging and all if you believe it with blind faith.

But after a few years I've learned that you only sell the map to the mine once the gold is all out.

Shoemoney posts his 120k adsense check photo a long time after he made it, john chow mentions how he made such and such money...and none of that stuff works anymore because the SEO holes they used are closed now. Whatever works right now is a tightly held secret and they'll tell you only after it runs out of steam.

This guy probably spent U$ 800 an hour in adwords to make U$ 900, still good profit, but if you think about it you'll see that he does NOT make U$ 1k per hour (IMHO)

Actually, if you'll see here, the guy who actually did this said that he had about a 100% ROI

honestly, every day brings more newbies into the fray and out of 100 newbies probably 10 make it and 1-2 make good ROI and turn out to make good money.

the bad thing is that the market is getting really flooded right now. 2-3 years ago everyone on these forums who knew what they knew today would be making 5-10k a month easily but the internet is getting so flooded with all the make money online people honestly... although i don't think this is right... i don't think we should be helping anyone get where we are because that just means more competition for ourselfs later down the line.

I don't practice this i help as many people as i can but i know deep down its probably a bad move. 1-2 years down the line they could become competition rather than just dying away and leaving the internet money business.

I know this isn't fair and i don't do it to anyone who asks for help but its inevitable.

At the same time helping other affiliates helps you become better, but it does create more competition. Or maybe you have a bad frame of mind :)

Yep it's very encouraging and money can definitely be made, but making $1k per hour is something that a lot of people will find hard to do.

Competition isn't necessarily a bad thing. The internet is still basically in it's infancy and there's still plenty of ways to make an online living regardless of how many people come online trying to do the same thing. The key is to find your little corner of the web that you can do something unique that has a decent size audience and it doesn't matter how much competition there is.

The areas with lots of competition, such as selling "How To Make Money" IM stuff seems to have a constant stream of newbies coming online to prey on. There are good IM products out there, but for most newbies it takes a lot of time and wasted dollars to find them and most of them probably give up in their quest because no matter how much hype there is out there, it take a lot of hard work to succeed with any online business, no different than any type of business.

competition can be good. but as others posted no one will give away the golden egg of today only the golden egg of yesterday but that doesnt mean yesterdays golden egg wont bring return, it just isn't as easy...

I think biggest misconception is that making a decent amount, more than 5K a month profit is very obtainable if you work hard and dont give up. as the key is everyone wants it handed to them and soemtimes things are handed out but what happens to that person when that offer goes away... sadly to say may times they go back to regular 9 to 5 its those that push thru and turn it into a new way of life and think out of the box that continue on... thanks GOD those are only a small few that jump on for the $$$$$$$$.
