Yes, I just heard that on Geo News. I don't know why he resigned. He was great captain for India indeed.
As a captain he has to manage everything in the team.He will also have many tensions while playing.This decreases the concentration of any player.If he has good managerial skills then captaincy may not give much stress i think.
Yep he was a nice captain Wonder why he resigned! Although he says he wants to concentrate on the game, i am sure there is something else behind it. He should have continued.. who would take the responsibility now?
it is a good decision, the team needs young people now! Dhoni and yuvraj are the best people to be captain! one of them will be the captain and the other the vice captain, this would be the best for indian cricket! but then saurav and sachin are also in the race, and looks like sachin may become the captian again!
may be he wants to give chance to new upcomers to take on the responsiblity, let c now who accepts it.
Dhoni should not be given any kind of high position.. or this would affect his game by a lot in my view, which just happened in the starting of Rahul's captaincy when he was also a wicket keeper.
yes it may effect dhoni's batting, but looks like he is the only choise! for some reasons BCCI is not giving much credit to yuvraj, so the only one that's left is dhoni! sachin is also in the race, both sachin and saurav are not clear on the captainship but given a chance, they will take it! just the 18th, 4 more days before a decision is taken!
if dhoni is captaining the side in the 20 20 world cup i guess he shud continue with the captaincy, hes young and that would be good in the long term
