Breaking even

One of my campaign is breaking even everyday. If i set the daily budget to $10, then I receive one sale or none. If set it to $50, then I make roughly 3 sales which ends up around 50$ in commission.

So basically everyday I'm breaking even and I don't know what to do about this.

The campaign has been running for couple months already.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Thanks!

Try changing your sales copy to increase sales.

I'm not using a landing page. I'm linking directly to the merchant's sales page.

Maybe that's where my mistake is?

Learn html or hire a designer to build you a landing page. It shouldn't cost you very much for a single page. There is a services section on this forum.

It is not absolutely necesary to make a landing page. If Your merchant has good landing pages choose the best on for You (the best one is from the point of view of Your paid keywords). You have to write the keywords for Your landing page!

tweak your campaign keywords and build a landing page to help lower your cpc. This way you can get more traffic for less $$

#1. Create a helpful landing page about the product. Why do you like it? Why would your clicker want to buy it?

#2. Look for keywords on Nichebot that are strange but still searched for and still relevant to your product. You want them to be strange...long is good...because you will have very little competition and yet a very targeted keyword (make sure it's targeted) so your cost per click will be low.

    Landing page does'nt always help.
G's quality landing page score adjustments have have me a more 'straight to merchant' affiliate for now.

If you're breaking even, you may actually be winning in the long run if:
you can deduct advertising on taxes
people see your ad and link to, or bookmark your page.

Deducting advertising on your taxes doesn't help you because the expenses are offset by the commission you must include on your taxes. It's a wash, no benefit.

Landing pages make a big differents in the amount of sales.

Also google takes this into consideration, making you're clicks cheaper.
