Hi iainvw, Thanks for the question. You are right, this is a competitive market, but I believe that the Body Goddess ebook achieves cut through because it doesn't 'sell' any particular product, it's a step by step guide to losing weight quickly and safely. From my initial marketing and sales efforts, i have posted on weight loss forums and other sites, and i've had (in the first day) 20 people sign up. From the 20, there have been 12 sales. I think this is a pretty great start and I will be doing more, but the faster affiliates can spread the news, the quicker it's going to sell. I hope this helps in making your decision, drewerose
No offense, but I believe most affiliates wont go anywhere near that sales page. Just an email capture form and no "buy now" button could equal a bunch of trouble for affiliates...and I think they'll probably stick with some of the more well known choices in the weight loss niche.
Hi, thanks for your feedback. I understand your concern and to show that I am not after affiliate commissions, I have now put a Order Now box on the home page. I know that most people would rather go with a better known brand and that's fine. But if you're willing to take a risk on a newcomer, let me say that I truly believe in this product and how well it works. I know the market is saturated, but The Body Goddess has worked so well that I believe it's going to sell very well. Thanks for the comment though, I appreciate it.
ok..... first off you need to take a look at the more successful products on the clickbank market place. Look at the weight loss product, their sale page etc. You might get 1 affiliate to send some traffic, but your never going to get anyone serious with a page like that. You say the product is amazing, that very well could be the truth, but your design and sales page needs to be amazing, IE convert into sales. It needs alot of work, JV partners, design, sales copy, sales stats. Get all that then come back to these forums and ask for help.
It´s definitely a hot niche but you must be ready to fight for every customer since the competition is brutal.

Page looks great, nice one Only one thing you might want to consider is moving that "Affiliates" graphic button out of your menu. Not necessarily because you will lose sales (I seriously doubt that most of your target market is even aware that affiliate marketing exists!), but many affiliates will see an obvious affiliates link and avoid your product.
Remember that weight loss is a very competitive niche. There are thousands of hot products in the same weight loss niche. If you want people to promote your very well instead of that of your competitors, you should do the following: 1. Investigate the top selling weight loss products on clickbank to see the quality of their salespage, commission they are offering, the time since when they have been selling, etc. 2. Offer 80% commission in order to hijack the affiliates of your competitors. This may look crazy but you will make your money. 3. Buy one or two products of your top competitors and see how they look like. If possible, you may need to redo your own product in order to beat them in the market. These are ways I launch my own products in clickbank and I have always made more than 12000% of the money I invested.
