    Hey Guys.
As you can probably tell from the title of this post, I am brand new to twitter.
I am a freelance writer and was thinking about offering my services to twitter members and although I get the overall idea, how do I find clients?
    Any thoughts would be welcomed.
    Kind regards

    • We would recommend to follow as many users as possible who would be interested in your services.
    • Once users follow you send them all DM (Direct Messages)
    • Unfollow the users who do not follow you back.
    • Post relevant information that your followers are interested in. (use hash # marks with relevant keywords or @ to link to other twitter accounts in your posts)

Repeat this process over and over each day for the next 12 months
    It takes time.

Look into using Twitters API -as the limits have been increased dramtically.

Honestly you will need to take your social network marketing efforts to the next level and automate it.

There are literally 100's of methods to use with twitter. These are the basics.
    Hope this helps

Thanks a lot for the information.
It is a great help to hear from people such as yourself as I seem to just blindly put things on there and although I do have followers, I just can't seem to really take advantage of it.
Anyway, I'm on there under the same pen name so take a look and say hello!
    Thanks again

OK, here is my advice: find freelance writers on Twitter who already have large following; follow them and hope that they'll follow you back. Once they do, you'll be able to send your updates to people interested in your service, but it will be MANY more people than you're currently able to reach. (Remember that your tweets reach only your followers, not the millions of people on Twitter.)

Lots of good advice here. If you have a blog make sure you link it to your twitter account so others can read your previous work, new deals, etc..
