So I've had my blog site running for just over 18 days, and my clicks got audited by just under 50% to $8.57 (50%!!). Is this good progress? Any tips on how I can improve this?
Try a sidebar ad mine gets incredible clicks. Also try http://www.stumbleupon.com/ and just make sure you are pinging everytime you post.
Heh, I tried blending as best I could... But finished trying a while back. I just threw the code into the WP loop in my template with the same formatting... Although it doesnt get many clicks..
wtf? could you be more specific in explanation? your earnings dropped at end of month? or you loose earning from begining of month at the end?
I'm getting confused now. I checked my earnings in July, and they were around $15. Then came August, and when I checked my July earnings, its down to around $8.5.... So I'm guessing Google ran an audit at the end of the month?
never ever experienced anything like that on my adsense... is stumble upon any good theN/ not meaning to hi jack
adsense search earnings are not usually precise (heck it says that even on adsense site) but ive never seen them rounding down figures
getting audited in such manner sounds strange... if it's reduced then how would you know if your 99.9$ won't turn out to be 56$ on the day you expected to get sent a cheque?!? (confused)
the same thing happen to me yesterday, my earning from a specific channel was reduced to half the original amount.
I've had this kind of thing happen before - I actually had earned about 19$ for a month a while back, and then Google came by and deducted 21$ from my account for invalid clicks. I wrote them, asking how it was possible to lose more than I earned, and they said they were subtracting monies from previous months where they had not previously discounted invalid clicks. So, yes, they won't hesitate to subtract earnings for any month if there's been invalid clicks.
I have never come across auditing by Google. Once they credit the account, they are unlikely to take any away. Any auditing is done prior to crediting the account i.e. checking for click fraud.
