I would never send traffic to just an optin page.............a waste of time, as you have already been told by members here but chosen to ignore.
Its not just an opt in page or even should be called an opt in form, it takes to the next page and then they can buy the product, kinda just like how Survey Scout does it or MakeMoneyTakingSurveys.org. These website do the same thing and they are both pretty successful. Its actually converting very well so far.
It's your site so you can do what you want and you can call it what you want (but unless they "opt in" they won't get to the next page so what do you call it?) , fact is to actually get to the buy now button you have to enter your email address etc, If they don't want to then they don't even get to see the buy now button which means wasted traffic the affiliates just sent........
