Brand New Forum For IMers - Advice?

    Alright, I just started brand new forum for IMers and I was wondering.

    How should I go about getting traffic to boost start the forum? I don't care much for paying for posters to the forum and the only traffic techniques I'm used to are posting on YouTube.

    Anyone have any ideas/tips?

    If you don't want to pay for posters then do it yourself. No one wants to post on a dead looking forum. Tell members on DP you will sign up and make some post on the forum they own if they do the same for you.

    You can try to exchange posts at PostExchanger.com its free.

    Look for forum posters to begin the activity and once it becomes active and popularity increases, then it will sustain the traffic...

    I'm not allowed to post signatures yet.

    I did hire a posting service on a trial. $10 for 2 new members and 80 posts I believe?

    If anyone could give me some advice on anything I could do to better it, that would be great. I've never ran a forum before.
