Brand-new domain with keyworded TLD, or aged domain with a nonsense name?

I plan to launch a site that will get most of its traffic from SEO.

What I'm still unsure is: shall I go with brand-new(age 0) domain name with the target keyword in it, or should I use a 5 years old domain which name isn't making any sense (eg: pokpid.com)?

SEO-wise, what's matter more? TLD or domain age?

Thanks in advance for all input!

What about using the old one, with mod_rewrite to rename each pages on it?

Will that better than keyworded TLD?

Why don't work on both of them, either could have potential and it depends on how effective your perform.

From what I read from http://www.seobook.com/exact-match-domains, my opinion about TLD changed somewhat; plus I read that google has de-value TLD for some months now?

As opinions about this are split - I'll just follow the safe route by doing both and see the result then.

    Thanks for all input! :)
