One of my clients have a domain just 3 months old, indexed in google 2-3 days ago, NO SEO, No Bacllinks, nothing. And guess what, it's PR3 !!! How ???? There's just a rewritten PLR article (CS Passed) in the homepage and nothing else. Can anybody put some light in it ? The domain is And another interesting fact - as per http://www.seopenalty.com/ , the domain is banned, though it's just indexed in google 2-3 days ago.
very weird....probably left over from the previous owner if there was one. submit the xml sitemap to Google through webmaster tools. im sure it will drop down on the next PR update.
Yes, very much weird. And No, it is a complete new registration, no left-over. It's a single test page in it and no other pages at all. Actually the website isn't built yet, the test page is there to indexing it. However anybody here to comment on this, I'm looking for some insight knowledge from veteran DPers. And please comment on the SEOPenalty.com ban, I couldn't understand where the site indexed in google with even a PR3, why the hell it could be banned.
it is forged / fake PR. how to check? do this on google -> site:name-of-domain and info:name-of-domain then you can see different. or you can check on www.checkpagerank.net
seopenalty site is totally useless and i dont suggest anyone using that. use google webmaster tool for better and reliable result. seopenalty shows google.com, yahoo.com, and msn.com all having penalty
Care to post the URL here? I would like to see that. Well according to my expeirences, google did give extra weight to new sites randomly which is more than one month old when updating pr. And I have been wodering, is pr calculating automatic or not, or is there any bugs in it?
google page rank not only depend back link whatever page rank should be good contents, good site structure, domain age etc.
I agree with "elenabush"... One of my website was just 3 weeks old and it gained PR of 2!!! No fake PR, I checked with every rank checker available on the internet... Wierd ha!!!
