Hi all please check out www.concert-ticketdeals.com I am very new to this IM thing, but have decided to join the crowded ticket selling affiliate. I do not know anything about html or site building, so I built this in Weebly, which is really easy to use, and I would recommend any newbie use to get started. I chose this niche because of the size of the market, and the constantly changing inventory means that links can be built and rebuilt as new products are added. I am doing mainly articles on ezine, ideamarketers and a few other article sites, with a variant on blogger, wordpress, hub, squid, usfreeads, and comfypages, all pointing to this site and/or the affiliate site. Most get pinged, and social book marked. I try to get each article in 10 versions in 10 locations, then ping and social bookmark them. Try to get 100 links for each article. I spent $100 on PPC with advice from the Stompernet free video. Made one sale of a $70 commission. 3 other sales came from articles (free). So I guess I will stick with articles!! I have had 4 sales to date, making $220,which I am very happy for the first month. Review comments please on the site the marketing strategy any other ideas In Australia we use the term "brains trust" to mean a group of friends who know something about something and can help out!!!! thanks for your help MP
The site looks good, it's very user friendly and easy to navigate, you should focus on improving your organic search engine traffic, article marketing can be very effective if done correctly but you must be consistent, good luck with the site.
I suggest you use CJ catalog Builder for Joomla and insert the tickets manually because on your website besides tickets I found a lot of useless products not related to the ticket business, to show you what I mean, I am developing a website with that plugin at officeiwear.com. This plugin is very easy to use , I made what you see in one working day. About the marketing strategy I am new to the affiliate network, I am developing another website related also to tickets and I am planning on using CJ as well. Please provide more info about your strategies newbies like me would gladly appreciate it .
Thanks Directive, I do like not having to have an inventory, and it is managed by the Affy provider. I will check out your suggestions and give it some thought. Not sure what non-ticket products you saw. regards
ThAnks Tom loved your no Dub site. I bookmarked it. Maybe you could put some Digg/tecnorati/delicious/propellor buttons on the home page. They are on your 'about' page, but would be better on Home. Had a good laugh. It is unfortunate that your country has lost much of its standing in the world, due to some unfortunate decisions over the last 7 years. (I am in Australia, and we recently changed our Prime Minister for a someone younger and forward looking.)Looking forward to a fresh start some time in January 2009. Mr O is truly inspirational. But, we still love the US and its people. kind regards
