http://www.wired.com/news/technology/0,70726-0.html?tw=wn_index_1 Researchers at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, are exploring the possibility of a biometric security device that will use a person's thoughts to authenticate her or his identity. wow.. this is like in the movies.. I dunno if this is really possible.. but why not? what are your thoughts.. isnt there studies that indicate some illness because of radioactive waves...?
wha--..?sounds cool but isnt it like there's gonna be a chip or some sort tha they'll plant on your brain..?
No. That sounds horrendous. In the UK there was a stink about some police force refusing to destroy DNA samples they'd collected from innocent people. You think it is cool, awsome and amazing that they are coming up with reading our brain patterns now? I think it is bloody scary that that kind of personal intrusion is even being discussed.
and it will be trouble if it's going to detect brain waves since passwords will be useless if they can easily detect it... what for?
