Hey Flagday, What do you wanna search? i.e. files - single server/multi server? public IP/private IP? or plain old public web pages - how many URL's/ what language etc etc?

We used to have a system online [long time ago now] where you could login build a search engine and install a search box on your site etc - pretty much like Atomz but multiple sites. But, we took it offline due to it being abused by SEO's who just wanted to compare how their site stood up against a competitor.

We have had it running again for a while now but it is only used for competitor monitoring etc.

Edit: Ignore all of that - I've only just realised the question I was responding to was a saracastic one but, I'll leave it for posterity anyway.

I understand what you mean. And they ain't getting any money from me either unless its a 1cents stock option. I believe the real power is in the Top ranking. I've got a few top keywords locked. Lets see how it turns out.

Dude think positive, boycotting Google is not the solution, the real solution is that MSN and Yahoo improve.

    We could put something like:

"Google is evil, use Yahoo! (or MSN, or whatever) instead"

On all our websites. Then we could have a link so that people would know why they are evil. Don't underestimate what 1,000's of webmasters are capable of. Google reaches out to millions everyday but all of us combined together do as well.

If 25% of the "top sites" of the internet started heavily suggesting their visitors use a search engine besides Google I'm sure Google would take notice.

Like the rest of us Google is nothing without its visitors.
