Boy, 5, doused in gas, set on fire by the religion of peace.

Five-year-old Youssif is scarred for life, his once beautiful smile turned into a grotesquely disfigured face -- the face of a horrifying act by masked men. They grabbed him on a January day outside his central Baghdad home, doused him with gas and set him ablaze.

It's an act incomprehensibly savage, even by Iraq's standards today. No one has been arrested and the motive remains unknown.

Why not play Second Life instead of watching anti-peace propaganda? If you have to live in alternative reality, at least remember not to project it on the real world.

Why do you recommend people to play Second Life ? An easy way to shut them up ? How cute.

If you want to live in alternative reality, there are better alternatives than reading anti-peace propaganda

You must be a real moron, in your own post that I have highlighted, it says that motive remains unknown, so how is this related to any religion?

So you would rather believe that this didn't actually happen? Reading is now considered living in an alternative reality? What kind of nut are you?

Does it really matter why a 5 year old child was doused with gasoline and set on fie. Since the motive is unknown, I gather you approve of the actions of these pigs.

    You make me sick

It matters because the OP has a history of blaming a religion when the religion is not what is to blame. Spreading hate by these horrible acts.

Doing this makes the OP no better than the people who burned this poor child in the first place, using it for his agenda of hate against a religion that is not his own.

But yeah someone who simply shows that is was not determined to be the religion makes you sick

He never said he approved of the act now did he?

Whether or not the ideology of islam is to blame does not matter. What matters is a 5 year old child is scarred and disfigured for life because of these animals.

You've got to be kidding! A post in a forum is as bad as setting a child on fire?

Now I've heard it all

What makes me sick are the people that do these things and the people who try to justify it with straw man arguments.

Unless I missed it, he didn't say he didn't say he didn't approve of the act now did he?

If we accept to make up stories then some one can make up a story and blame it on American soldiers and claim that they did this because they thought the boy family was working with insurgents, can't they?

How about this story that the boy father was a drug dealer like ly2 who failed to pay what he owes and they did this to punish him?

The simple truth is that the facts are unknown and you and ly2 are just making up BS to justify your hatred for other people.

Sounds like a bad incident. That said, I do have a problem with the thread headline. The "religion of peace" is the one who actually set the child on fire? How does that work?

A religion doesn't set people on fire, people do. They may be adherents to a particular sect, but they're ultimately still responsible for their own actions.
