I vote for Boxing. As I say that I find that UFC is evolving really nice. The fighters are a lot more skilled, and are improving at a fast rate.
To my opinion UFC is a merchant and pop project in the world of martial arts. So boxing has its history, traditions and intellectual spirit and can't be judged as a 'glamorous' sports or just entertainment. Well, I choose boxing.
Even though UFC combines different techniques, ground and pound, submissions, etc., boxing still has the purest and simplest form of fighting where every fighter only have his hands to win.
HELLO : To my opinion I have done both sports and to be honest boxing takes a whole lot more conditioning. In boxing you train for nine rounds while in ufc only 5. Boxers have to be more conditioned because they box and are always on their toes. While in the ufc you are on the ground on top of a guy resting when your tired
I love boxing but the sport really is falling apart. No younger people are interested anymore while with UFC, if you go to any bar showing the fight on Saturday that place will be packed. Dana White is doing a lot of good things with the sport
Both unbelievably tough sports and really different, lots of people think that they are really similar but that is for people who have no idea what both the sports are really about.
