Hi, I need help, I just made a mailing and I receive like 1400 bounced emails, I have those bounced emails in a separate folder in 'windows live mail'.

I need a software or something to go through this folder and retrieve all those bounces into a TXT, then I will need some other software to remove this bounced from my original email list

Hope some one help me, thanks in advance

If you were mailing to your list of subscribers, did you do it manually from your own email account or through an autoresponder? Because from what i know, an autoresponder will automatically send out a TXT format email if your subscriber cannot receive the other type.

Of course they will bounce back.. you should start using once of the good email marketing services : Aweber, Mailchimp, Madmimi . That way you also will have indication regarding the delivery of the email and if the customer opened it or not/ went to spam or not.. and many other useful indications .

By the way those bounced emails, may not even be bounced because of wrong / non-existent email addresses. It could be that the email providers have blocked your IPs after detecting bulk emails. Try to send a couple of those bounced emails manually from a different IP or email provider see if they go through.

There really is no reasonable alternative to building your own opted-in list of subscribers. Buying a list, as I suspect is what happened, will always result in a good number of undeliverables and low open rates.

Yup, i was suspecting that this list was being bought. Anyways, if you want a good and responsive list, you should build one yourself. There's no other alternative, if you want to make good money. Also invest in a good autoresponder when you own your own list. It's worth it. Ask anyone here, they'll tell you the same.

My best answer is get an autoresponder and manually import all the contacts into the autoresponder and let the autoresponder resend everything for you. That way you can save the effort of resending bounced emails.

I like Howard's answer... a list cleaner of some sort is needed - but I doubt if there's an off the shelf software that will do what the OP wants.

If your emails were obtained legally, import them into GetResponse.

    :)

It will make your life much easier.

But they will NOT tolerate any spam. (The emails have to be legally obtained).
