Things often skipped while working on Bounce Rate:
    1. Prioritize Information: Information overload can be a turn off. If your website is screaming with links, adds and text everywhere - people will leave.
    2. Make it readable, focus on typography.
    3. Use subtle colors.

put all the most useful or interesting content above the fold of the page. this way people don't have to do anything to see good content. people are lazy, and they need to be 'grabbed' the instant they land on your site.

To reduce Bounce rate on your website, you should detect what things are distracting the people when they come to your website. you should also try to post the informative content on your website and reduce the low quality traffic to your website.

There's no specific range on what a website's bounce rate should be. Bounce rate, in a nutshell, can either be a good sign or a bad omen for your website. It all boils down on what kind of website you have.

In order for people getting lesser bounce rates, they should think more on user engagement and how they think they can attract visitors/users to click on other pages of the website. If the content isn't really engaging and all, what's the point of looking through more pages?

Bounce rate is that calculation which is done by any analitics software. It is the calculation about that how much time a visitor spend time on your site.

To reduce bounce rate, also make sure your site loads FAST. If your site takes more than a couple of seconds to fully load, people will leave immediately, either thinking your site's infected or that they don't have time to waste waiting to see what you have.

Two (of various) ways to improve load time involve your images. Make sure they're compressed and have the width/height attribute # filled in. Ex. width='60' height='30'.

Bounce rate occurs when your visitors seems to be un interested in your content or you have optimized your website for any wrong keywords. So better check you content and keywords targeted. Further there may be also some internal website problem such as bad design, improper navigation and dead link will result into increased in bounce rate of a website.

Content, Content, Content, Content!!! Also look at your Google Analytics to see which page(s) the bounce rate is occurring. This will provide you the direction you need to focus on.
