    Hi there,

I have been using Google Analytics for a while now, but don't even begin to understand what Bounce Rate means. From what I know it means the percent of users who visited the site and then left without going to any other pages within the site.

    Is that correct??

Also my Bounce Rate for one of my sites is 0.54% for this month. Is that a good/bad figure??

Yeah, thats what bounce rate is. Basically, people click on to your site and realise its not what they wanted - so they click out, close the browser etc..

Bounce rate of 0.54% is amazing. My sites typically have a bounce rate of 20-30% - which I think is normal.

You must have very specific keywords that you rank well in search engines.
