Is there a way to find out the bounce rates of competitors sites?

You can use Google Analytics benchmarking to get an overall idea within your industry.

good idea, but I will have to share my stats with others for this feature to work.
What are the implications of sharing my Google Analytics data?

I would suggest you read the guide on data sharing before signing up...http://www.google.com/support/analytics/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=87515#0.1.1_3

I do know your data is anonymous however and your competitors won't know exactly which company's data they are seeing when viewing benchmarking. And you can only see the data for your business size and industry.

The benchmarking is only as good as the number of people who share their data.

I personally recommend that you do share your data (I do for all my sites). The more people who do, the better the benchmarking product becomes which helps all of us improve our online presence.

you mean it is significantly different from google analytics bounce rate?
then they may be calculate is differently, but it still should help in comparing rates between different sites (including those you don't own thus have no analytics for them)

    yep
good point, but the thing is I cant find any consistency in alexa rates, for some site difference would be 10-20% for some 30-40 and for one 70%...
