I believe the bounce rate of a page is an important information to google SEO. I was wondering how did google know the bounce rate of a page?
Bounce rate is stored in Google Analytics for those sites that have it installed, but I very much doubt G currently uses data from Analytics in its search algorithm. For sites without any Google code on them, they won't be able to work out the bounce rate anyway.
I am using google Analystics for my site. Some of the keywords brought me good traffic few days ago but the bounce rate was very high. my site was on the top when i searched that keyword few days ago in google. But now it's gone. not listed in 1000 pages.
If they include it the algorithm, and I don't know whether they do or not, they wouldn't have to just rely on google analytics, they could use the period of time between someone clicking on a result to go to your site, and coming back to google to click on another result.
