Bought expired domain which turned out to be banned

Bought a domain a month or so ago which had recently expired. Worked on it, devloped it and started submitting to directories, articles, etc etc. Normally it takes 3/4 days for me to get a new site crawled because I've got a couple of 6 & 7 PR site partners who's sites are crawlled regulary. I rotate my links on there and Google picks it up. Not this one

I looked in the Internet Archive and discovered it was a right spam pit. I'd reccomed you check with the archive before buying an expired domain.

Re-inclusion case for me, pain in the bum.
