About 2 months ago i bought a nice domain name for a future project. Yesterday i found out it was indexed by google (the standard hosting landing page), i was suprised to see that cos i asumed it was a new domain. Then i checked for backlinks and found the dropdomain sites. Checked the domain on wayback and it turned out the domain was first registred in 2003, last entry/update was in 2006, and the old site had same subject for what i'm planning to do with it.

My question is if this domain will be treated different (skip sandbox) by google then a new domain? I know the sandbox theory is debated but most believe there are some filters (sandbox or not) that prefent new sites (even with lots of good backlinks) to rank high on competitive terms.

Additional info: No backlinks besided the droppeddomain sites:( In yahoo the site isnt listed
