    Hi There,

I bought a good little domain... or so I thought... It turned out this was owned back in 2002 by a guy with a spam script up there, so the domain is banned in Google.

I sent in sitemap and reinclusion request and still nothing...

So a piece of advice, check wayback engine before purchasing a domain name...

Well, almost all the SEO proz know about this and they always checking their domains if it's pre owned and then decide to purchase or not, But while it's banned and you submitted your site for re inclusion then you will be fine if it's not another spam site.

Just keep working on getting good links to the site. That should help your site.

you must wait google to index your before banned domain.

you can also try to find some more backlinks google to trust you more

I did the same thing about 18 months ago. A reinclusion request didn't help and eventually google asked me to stop hassling them, telling me there was no problem with the site (although it wasn't indexed or in the SERPS!) and kept telling me to look at their guidelines. In reality there was nothing at all wrong with the site for me to correct.

I then left the site alone, almost forgot about it apart from very occasional link building, and about a year later it suddenly appeared in the SERPS.

Unfortunately I don't know what prompted its reappearance - the passage of time or a particular inbound link or something else.

Perhaps the whole reinclusion request thing works better now that it is part of the webmaster info, I'm not sure.

It might take up to 6 weeks to get back in...
