Bought a domain and need some tips

    Hi

    I bought a domain named 3gmobilephones.net. I want to make it profitable.

    I have some ideas myself, ie., a ecommerce site in the name, or just a blog site.

    Can anyone share their ideas to make it worth.

    Or else I can sell the domain name.

    Any advice is appreciated.

    Maybe some of these ideas:
    - advertising site for businesses offering/selling 3G phones with banners or classified-style
    - reviews of 3G phones (with banner links or affiliate links to get revenue)
    (personally, if you can find a buyer for a few $100 I would sell it; .net is difficult to develop since you will always have a significant amount of traffic leak to the .com extension)

    you pretty much nailed it: either ecommerce (online store, dropship, or affiliate), or blog/reviews (adsense, affiliate)
    May be forum (adsense, affiliate) would be a 3rd option.
