    I second that. Also, make sure you use the complete URL 'http://www' and not just 'www' or just 'http://' without the 'www' on the end of it.

    use .htaccess to redirect one to another, say all non-www to www urls. Also get rid of canonicalization of this_is_url and this_is_url/

    Make sure you use same url every time. Do not change and not have the www in url it can lower rank because it looks like 2 pages instead of one

    Thanks guys - then absolute url's it will be at bottom of pages.
    Currently my menu url's are all 'page.htm' format - should I make them absolute url's as well? Most sites incl. web design sites seem to use just the 'page.htm' format.
