ideas_man I may have something for you. Among the sites and services in my portfolio is a forum posting service. I would like to discuss with you the possibility of writing a bot that could do the following: 1) Read an XML or CSV file placed on my server containing top level URL, username and reported post counts. 2) Have the bot use this information to go to a forum and FIND all the posts and threads under that username for that forum. 3) Return the found information to my server. (Found information being #posts found, URL of the posts at minimum) I would like the spider to fire off on an event on my server - when a poster updates his or her reported post counts for a forum - OR - run it on a scheduled daily release. I would like to further get your sense of cost for a phase 2 project in which the bot could analyze the posts for word count and return that data as well. Hopefully that is enough to get an estimate from you. Thanks.
@JuggernautH : I provide services for the completion of online tasks via automated means. Clients come to me when they have a task that is labour intensive which can be handled more effectively with software. Can you make a script that submits a site to several directorys automatic? If you put in info for one site you submit to lets say 200 directorys, and posibility to add more directorys by hand? Is this posible and what would be the price?
