Somebody used there BotNet on my site recently(In the last 5 hours)
We have been down for about 4 1/2 out of the 5 hours he started.
Why did he do it? Well the reason i got from the person who is sending the attack is because he did not like one of my moderators. Nice reason to illegally take down somebody's site, eh?

I was wondering if theres some way to stop his attacks? Or if anybody knows of a host that can protect this.

if they are good and using UDP get more bandwidth.
if they are good and using tcp syn use Cisco tcp-intercept

before trying that contact your upstream provider before you get hit with a large overage. Even with a server side firewall you will still be billed for the traffic as it still reaches your server.
