Bot spider frequency: Blog type site

    Hi,
I've read quite a lot on the subject of bot crawls, etc. But I haven't seen anything that really give concrete information about frequency.
My site is a sort of micro-blog but the discussion last for a limited time - Perhaps as short as 24 hours. If Google doesn't come by to check, the discussion could be over and it wouldn't even have made the crawl, let alone the SERP.
Does anyone know if there is a way to tackle this problem?

    Many thanks!

    Hi,

In my own experiences, high PR(above 4) blogs or sites would have more frequent crawling. Also, keeping updating your blogs using niche relative posts and increasing direct backlinks from high PR sources would be helpful for this purpose. :)

    all the best,

All I know it depends on how often you update your site and if the pages are all working properly. If bots find a broken link the crawl might stop on that point.

You can ping your site to help the process. Frequent updating of your blog can help on getting your pages crawled on much faster than others. It even doesn't matter if it has high PR or not as long as it gets updated daily.
