G'Day cobber, cocky, sparrow - "Howz ya day?" (A typical Australian native species greeting, and substitute to 'Hello').

You are probably "wondering" - What is a Numbat (Walpurti) is doing on the Web writing a greeting to all the good folks on this forum. I'll tell you - it beats hanging about in woodland areas eating 20,000 termites a day with foxes, cats and dingoes chasing you for a feed (meal) constantly, plus I heard we are not even supposed to type - being a marsupial with no real digits.

We are incredibly cute and good looking marsupials with a fairly large snout, and grow-up to be the size of a small kitten (*kitten: cute and cuddly in your eyes, and a great big carnivorous "thing" with claws in our "numbat" eyes).

However, since the introduction of cats, foxes, and dogs, we have become 'rarer than hens teeth' (endangered), which is very sad, heartbreaking for some of the good people of Australia - others are happy wearing us as hats (only joking - we are a protected species).

The rest of the clan I hang out with consists of "other" endangered Australian and Offshore species that all share one thing in common, we have made a new habitat online, with burrows, dens, rocks, branches and nests residing in Web Servers of the Internet.

We forage for our sustenance amongst the trees (websites) and groundcover (webpage's) of the "Web", often waiting until the "stillest hours" to move around and review our surroundings.

Looking forward to foraging with you all.
