Bored.com?

I'm not the owner of bored.com but does anyone else think that the owner should catch up with the times? Who searches for that? Why is such a good domain name so badly designed - and doesn't have quality content?

Sounds stupid, but I kind of like the "web 0.5" feel to it :)

(trying to coin that term, what do you think?)

it's not searches he (eric borgos) cares about. People typed bored.com into their browsers all the time.

Appears perhaps he's a bit smarter than you give him credit for? You know since he owns quite a few sites and is a 37 y/o multi millionaire and all...

Ya, but if they type in bored.com into their browsers all the time - don't you think it should have a better website? I'm not talking about the searches, I'm talking about the content.

Maybe that's why his company is in debt for net income for last year as well.

I don't play on it. But I still wonder why they fail to have quality content on it.

Do you realize how much the domain value alone would be worth?

    Define 'quality content'.

I personally don't really like the look of the site either, but apparently tons of people don't mind. Look at the 'virtual pet grave' link, at least 100 people made one yesterday. Why? Who knows.

I personally think that MySpace is one of the ugliest, tackiest sites every created, but people eat it up.

I'm getting dizzy just looking at it but it definitely brings some memories back (90's). hmm, I guess it entertained me after all even without reading the content.

    I go to Iambored.com sometimes.

Just make a flash arcade out of it.
