border photoshop problem...

    Hello I am newbie at photoshop...
    I would like to make a question.
    Could you please someone tell me how to remove the border from an image?
    I would like to make a logo but I don't like the black border that the image have.
    Help will be much appreciated :)

    Select the image only, copy and paste it to a new layer than hide the original layer. Or, just crop the canvas a few pixels (how ever thick the border is) all the around the image.

    Or you could lasso the image out of the BG.

    Use the "Trim" menu item; I think it's under Image, but it could be Edit. It might even change from version to version. But it'll pick the top-left pixel, and then remove all the pixels with the same color on the outside of the image.
