    Hello there,

I'm not native english speaker, so please excuse me for my poor english!

I've tried during hours to apply a torn paper effect on some parts of the page. I've achieved it using a lot of <span> and background images, for small items such as menu items.
But when I apply it on a longer text such as content, it doesn't work properly.

I've attached a zip file which contains the html+css file, the jpeg files for the effect and a picture to understand better what I would like to achieve.

I would like to make the big white parts of content on this picture look like a single sheet of paper with torn borders.

I've tried many hours but my knowledges in webdesign are really limited, so I would really appreciate some help!

    Bye!
    m00gle.

span is an inline element. Try use div instead.

Ok didn't try to replace all spans by divs, and that was the solution!

    Thanks a lot myst_dg!

    See you!
