Most of the computers I have laying around already support booting to a USB drive as an option in the boot order selector, but some do not. I was curious if anybody knew of some fancy file I could put on a floppy disk, that would tell the computer to boot from a usb device? I have found many of these on google, but they are all custom made for different linux distro's, I am looking for one that will boot to the usb drive (yes the usb drive is bootable). any help would be great, thanks!
Try DSL Damn Small Linux, heres the USB version of it http://damnsmalllinux.org/usb.html . Good Luck! ~geekos
