I'll try and be as constructive with this as possible.

The design isnt good, you should have a header graphic designed, I ran a competition here on DP and got some excellent entries so maybe you could consider that, would cost $25+.

Also, your site screams of unprofessional and low quality, purely from the fact that you are running adsense adverts on a site trying to sell something. No business with a product worth selling is going to do that - you're sending away that traffic you work for, straight to your competitors site!

I would say there are two options:

1. Remove adsense completely. This will make your design look better, and not drain the traffic from your site. It makes you look more professional, and gives you a better chance to convert your traffic.

2. Rather than sell the ebook, change all the pages into HTML and post them all on your site for free. if you have a lot of good quality pages, its better for SEO, more people will be likely to link to you and you can increase traffic, then profit solely from adsense.

I think while you try and sell products and run adsense, you are doomed to failure.

You definitely have a point here! Never even thought about that. I do see what you mean, and I will think heavily on what I should do to better my traffic. Thank you very much for your input above.

Link exchanges help alot to get traffic. You can even look at traffic programs to monitor your traffic. Do a google search for arrow scripts. They have a nice link exchange script to try for free.

If you were making $1.60 / day with a Pr1 and very low traffic - imagine what you are going to do when you get your traffic 50 - 100 x what you are getting now - which is easily achievable.

Your adsense placement seems to be fairly effective.

 

How much more traffic would you say? Does it also increase your eCPM with more traffic?

 

How much traffic are you getting? Besides the alexa rank - the PR1 also suggests low traffic - but PR hasn't updated in awhile I have PR0 sites that are actually strong 5s (going by g behavior and g webmaster tools.)

Regarding his Alexa rank - I just checked the alexa ranks of some of my sites and some are similar to reality and some are not even close.

Regarding the question about ecpm. Since ecpm is a ratio to traffic - changing traffic does not change ecpm.

 

Yah, I just need to keep trying to boost my traffic and PR Rank I suppose. Increasing traffic is a time consuming task as I am finding out.

2 things you need to ponder:

1. Blending of ad units
2. adding more content. I can there are only 14 google indexed pages

 

Make a leaderboard under the logo.
Use 1 more rectangle.
Test with other outstanding colours like red & yellow etc.
