You might want to switch your website to a Wordpress blog. That way, when you post a new article or page, it will (if you set it up to) "ping" your article to many other websites, thus directing traffic to your website.

Other reasons why I think switching would help.

    • There are thousands of themes to choose from so if one layout isn't working, it's easy to change.
    • You can use permalinks to create SEO friendly URLs.
    • People can subscribe to your RSS feed or display your content on their own website, giving you one way links.
    • There are plugins that will help you place your adsense ads within your articles.

    Hope that helps.

I've made some recent changes to my entire fitness site regarding ad placement. I've also done some things to hopefully increase traffic as well.

Have a look and let me know what you think of my ad placements. I've utilized text ads, link units and image/video ads on various pages throughout my site.

Any feedback is appreciated...even if it's negative! :D

Replace the top banner with a big rectangle under the title floating with the text.

Alexa ranking is based ONLY if people have the alexa toolbar installed so that they can track it.

DO NOT rely only on alexa for traffic rankings!

Damn, what is going on here? I just put up a large rectangle right at the top of my home page and now it is not showing a relevant ad..only a TEST AD!

What does this mean and how do I fix this...or is this simply Google's issue?

    Anyone?

I suppose you can improve your CTR by moving your heading "
Fitness And Bodybuilding For Better Health And Success " left to the page, i mean start the heading from the top left of the ad.

Replace the link unit in the middle of the page with a Banner Ad.

Try the tips and let us know if any improvement in your CTR.

Ok, I will surely try all that, thank you!

Does anyone know why I am getting a "TEST AD" instead of a relevant text ad for my large rectangle at the top of my site?

I had to resort to using a small square at the top left of my page because the bigger ones would give me "TEST ADS" only. Going a bit smaller seemed to take care of that problem.

I am going to try tweaking stuff every few days and I will let everyone know my results.

Any other suggestions are welcomed! So speak your mind!! :D

I just don't think you have enough traffic by the look of things. Without traffic, who will click?

Is it really dell ads, or someone playing tricks with alot of cash?...

Either way, the 336 will do better in that spot.. once these annoying ads are gone lol.

Yah, and somehow because of all those "TEST ADS" showing, I have earned 0.5 cents without having any clicks accounted for. LOL! Funny stuff happening, for sure.

I will definitely try the 336 in that spot once I know these test ads are done.
