motivational and humor and inspirational books. The fab fave is the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. I am trying to get as much of those as I can as I can afford from the Value Village. Somebody told me to hitup Value Village for those books. They were right as rain!
I cannot read enough! I will read anything to do with anything, as long as it's not a mystery, because I am too impatient and get too irritated. My new fave author, and if you like fiction you just gotta read her, is Kristin Hannah. Awesome books!
The Chicken Soup for the Soul series. I LOVE this certain collection and other series like this. If it is short uplifting stories, I love it. Miracles and blessings type stories are so cool after all of the murder and mayhem type books that are out there. I love Chicken Soup for the Soul. Jack Canfield who started this series is a true hero of all "heavenly bodies". Humor is another thing I like to read. If it is humor of several different generes, I like to read them and review them. Maze books and puzzle books are what I like to muddle in trying to figure out the puzzles and mazes and so on to keep my brain "alive", as well.
I like to read Science fictions books, also like to SEO related books and updates about it. And the new ideas, inventions in the field of marketing.
Well I prefer to read everything that is connected with philosophy, psychology, spiritual and metaphysical... My favorite books are all those who are connected with Yoga and meditation, also the Acts of the Apostles from the New Testament. At the moment I am reading the books of Apostles Paul. His level of wisdom is far beyond any man who live on this planet. I am analysing his words and I see that there is a huge background behind them. I love it!
Also, while I am on internet I prefer to read some articles who are related with ancient history and archeology, sacred texts, UFO encounters and ET existence... The site I prefer to read will offer you: Ancient Code is a brand new news organization seeking to inspire out-of-the-box thinking. We approach Archaeology and history from a different perspective. Ancient Code's team is a group of people looking to uncover the hidden messages embedded in our past. Its time to start thinking out of the box, open your mind and open your hearts. The information is out there, it is up to us to receive and digest it in a positive way. http://www.ancient-code.com/
I've cut down on my reading the past 2 years. I made the mistake of using reading an excuse not to take action like so many other people. Right now I'm reading "Vagabonding" by Rolf Potts. It explores the idea of traveling on a small budget, making money through an location independent business and living life never in the same place but always on the move. The idea of "home" is rejected and rejecting the 9-5 lifestyle and daily commute. This is my goal, to travel the world and build my business. Which will happen within the next 2 months!
Just finished Kellogg on Strategy (Google it, forum isn't letting me link to the page) - highly recommended, very astute application of Micheal Porter's theories.
i like anything about economics. gorky pork was really good too if you like that sort of thing (mystery).
I like thrillers with interesting turn of events...I dont like predictable books. Sometimes I enjoy reading studies as psychology and philosophy.
I'm not a huge fiction reader, but don't mind reading non-fiction from time to time. Also because I play a lot of poker I've read my fair share of poker strategy books.
Like a lot of people here, I enjoy fantasy novels as well - here's some of my favorite authors: Robert Jordan Brandon Sanderson Terry Goodkind (I know, I know, people have very mixed opinions, but I like his work) Raymond E. Feist James Clemens Richard Adams (Maia and Shardik are wildly underappreciated) And you know what? I just couldn't get into A Song of Ice and Fire. I get why people like it though.
As I was the student of English Literature. So I love to read English Language related books too much.
