I find that there are absolutely millions of books on the subject of web development, html, css, php you name it. And since I love books, that was the easiest way for me to learn a lot of it. However, trying to get into the design part of things I just haven't been able to find any good resources at all. Do you guys know some good books on web design? Thinking about it, it doesn't have to be books, websites I fine aswell I suppose.

    Thanks ! :)

What i recommend is get started with Gimp witch is free and there are a lot of videos on web and if you become very good then you can sell your services to internet marketers and make a lot of money.

Most books are paid and probably you will have to buy it in a physical format. I would recomment reading blogs and articles of web designers, they are free and are up to date.

Get a book on photoshop. It works well for web design and then you can export to something like dreamweaver to do your mark up.

Books on usability and design in general, as well as mastering a program like GIMP or Photoshop, will open the doors.
