bookmarking

    Does
    "bookmark this page"
    "make this your home page"
    work?

    Split this into two parts:

    -Do people cooperate (bookmark, click..)
    -Do people click on back button after seeing the same page over and over again.

    Offering a bookmark link, your making it convenient for your visitors to save your site to their favourites, so it has to be a good thing.

    What I mean is that if asking people to bookmark the page had no effect on users and they did not bookmark, then it won't do any harm... I think one should try it for a while to see how good it was...
    In order for people to bookmark a page, the page should offer something really interesting for users to come back, something being updated always...

    Since I ve added a bookmark on all of my sites, my return visitors is exactly the same as it's been, so I don't think they have much effect at all so far in bringing folks back.
