Bookmarking sites list: will that effect my google ranking?

    Hi Guys,

    I have found this social bookmarking sites list. Please let me know how it can effect my Google page rank and the number of visitors to my site. I haven't done social bookmaking before. I do know the benefits of directory and article submission.

    Yes, it does effect in your Google ranking but you should also do good blog commenting with relevant and high page rank blogs.

    yes social bookmarking does effect the page rankings and traffic. be sure to choose do follow social bookmarking sites. It is so simple and easy to post in social book marking sites.

    Yes an No. I've received a mixed response but the overall response is positive. Delicious is a good place to start.

    Social bookmarks is very good to build free or very cheap backlinks, even if your website is in English, there are a lot of Social bookmarking websites around the internet, you should search for bigger lists and submit your website with a good tilte (your keyword), description and etc.

    Also i've tried submissions to english bookmarks with Lithuanian websites. These submissions increased the rankings in SERP.

    About PR, the last pagerank update was on 2010 April, so no one, except google does not know when the next update will be.

    It's benefit is a couple of backlinks from PR6+ websites, nothing more than that, unless you have a great social story and then you might be able to scrape up some traffic through it.

    Social Bookmarking is one of the major steps to gain popularity and traffic. A few of them are dofollow so can help in boosting the PageRank too.

    It is a great list of social bookmarking sites. Social bookmarking will definitely increase everyday website traffic and page rank. i must say go for this list.

    social bookmarking is one of the important factor to rank well in google search engine. any website bookmark by you, search engine count that bookmark as a vote means any people will bookmark your website if that website is useful to that

    social bookmarking sites will help a lot to get your sites ranked fast...but the downsite is that the traffic is not targeted in most cases.
