how can you tell if a site is do follow or not thanks

 

Use a plugin for Firefox (SEO Quake, SEO for Firefox, etc) and set it to highlight nofollow links for you. Or use Internet Explorer or Firefox and view the page source. Look for links that include rel=nofollow.

Below is an example of a text link that has been nofollowed.

Edit: I forgot to mention that some social bookmarking sites are using 301 redirects for the link. Those also benefit SEO.

 

you can use an adons to easily notice that the link on that website in nofollow or dofollow once the page loads on your browser, but if you don't want to install anything you can just highlights the link and right click on it and choose View Selection Source and it shows the code where the link is dofollow or not like this:
