Such links are usually very weak and will be deindexed over time. Best to focus on great content where others will naturally link to you.
That's a rather old list. Furl.net, magnolia are dead You should create a GOOD page, story ad infographic before you think of bookmarking.
Article sites are best for backlinks I find. I use ezinearticles, goarticles and articlesbase, and submit my author rss feeds to the aggregators.
some sites are best and and they can increase your ranking and traffics. social bookmarking is best way for generate more traffics and ranking but do some others works also.
I agree with mywebsearch dont focuss only on one thing. Must be natural and get links from everywhere. Good luck. I also strugle to get my ranking up.
